The Junior School Certificate and Junior Dakhil Certificate exam results will be published on December 30, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said on Tuesday.
The minister announced the date at a meeting in the secretariat.
According to convention, the education minister and board personnel will hand over a summary of the exam results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the morning of December 30.
The detailed results will be published by the education minister at a press conference afterwards in the Secretariat.
Examinees will be able to check their results in the website and via Teletalk numbers after the minister’s press conference.
PM Sheikh Hasina will also inaugurate the free textbooks for 2018 on December 30, said Nahid.
A total of 2,468,820 students participated their JSC-JDC exams this year.
The date for primary and Ebtedayee education completion exam results has not been finalised, Primary and Mass Education Secretary Mohammad Asif-Uz-Zaman told reporters.
Minister Nahid said the government is planning to release the Ebtedayee results within the last week of December.
